Most significantly, my time at Stempia led me to join the Voice of Calling NPO. This has been a life-changing experience. Through this organization, I have connected with students and teachers in Tanzania, Rwanda, and beyond as I work to spread computer science education worldwide. I will never forget logging onto Zoom at 11 PM to teach fellow high school students in Tanzania about machine learning. Overall, my time at Stempia Computer Institute has been invaluable and transformative, and I will always be grateful for the support of my teachers and the community at Stempia.

I first got interested in coding there through Scratch and Python, and over time, their structured training and constant support helped me grow far beyond what I imagined. With their guidance, I was able to reach Platinum in USACO and KOI, and eventually earn a Gold Medal at an ICPC regional. More than just teaching algorithms, Stempia built my problem-solving mindset and confidence.
